Tishk International University's 11th National Innovation Competition in Engineering NICE 2026 was held on Sunday, May 17th, 2026, under "Targeting Smart Sustainable Innovations." The competition aimed to gather students, supervisors' practitioners, educators, and students of all engineering fields around universities in Kurdistan and Iraq interested in smart, sustainable innovations. In continuation of its academic and scientific activities, the Tishk International University organized the International Conference on Architecture & Interior Design (ICAD 2026) on April 28–29, 2026 . The conference served as an interdisciplinary platform for presenting recent advances and research findings in the fields of Architecture and Interior Design. On 12/5/2026, as part of the Special Topics in Interior Design course, Grade 4 Interior Design Engineering students at TIU, accompanied by Lecturer Mr. Frsat Abdullah, participated in an educational site visit to a project implemented by Ideal Design. On May 5, 2026, the Interior Design Department at the Faculty of Engineering, Tishk International University organized a scientific trip for fourth-stage students to JIR Home and Space Design as part of their Special topics in interior design course.
