German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) Fund In collaboration with the Chair of Advanced Structures at Bauhaus University Weimar, the Civil Engineering Department at Tishk International University (TIU) received a grant of 181,064.00 Euros from the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD). The grant corresponds to the framework of the “University partnerships with Iraq 2022-2023” Program, under the project title “Multiscale consequence studies for hazard impact on structures in Iraq”. DAAD Funds Opportunities in Iraq The Civil Engineering Department at Tishk International University organized a workshop on “Introducing the fund's opportunities of DAAD”, held on January 5th, 2022. The purpose of this workshop was to explain how to prepare for available funds and to announce the fund availability in Iraq for graduates, Ph.D. candidates or researchers, and higher education cooperation.
