VISIT TO BAUHAUS UNIVERSITY-WEIMAR The Head of the Civil Engineering Department Dr. Barham Haidar, journeyed to Bauhaus-Universität Weimar on November 13th, 2022, for seven days within the framework of a grant program for research entitled Multiscale consequence studies for hazard impact on structures in Iraq, funded by the DAAD in coordination with the Bauhaus-Universität Weimar. During the visit, they discussed how the project progressed and organised a comprehensive plan for the field aspect. Khabur Primary School Assessment In cooperation with the Governorate of Erbil and Erbil Education Directorate, the Civil Engineering Department at Tishk International University conducted an assessment project for a public service building (Khabur Primary School) constructed in 1978. The project took place from 20th April 2022 to 20th June 2022. The project consisted of the following activities: Carrying out surveying measurements Preparing as-built plans and drawings Creating 3D model Assessment of the building Preparing BOQ
