Internal Seminar: Applications of Soil Resistivity Imaging in Geotechnical Engineering The Civil Engineering Department at Tishk International University periodically organizes internal seminars regarding the trending topics related to the department. On November 17th, 2021, Dr. Yousif Abduallah Hussein presented a seminar entitled 'Applications of Soil Resistivity Imaging in Geotechnical Engineering.' The seminar was dedicated to portraying the resistivity measurements that can indicate the relative ability of the medium to carry electrical currents. This measurement is used in corrosion control of buried structures by providing cathodic protection.

On November 16th, 2021, Dr. Jawdat Tashan presented a seminar entitled 'Actions to build technology-based teaching and learning programs.' The purpose of the seminar was to discuss mechanisms and techniques that enhance departmental academic performance. Further, in aim to increase the interest of the program, principles of how to develop a suitable action plan for the program were highlighted and evaluated.
