Internal Seminar: Lecturing Ethics in the Faculty of Engineering
The Civil Engineering Department at Tishk International University periodically organizes internal seminars regarding the trending topics related to the department.
On November 15th, 2021, Prof. Dr. Bayan Salim Obaid presented a seminar entitled ‘Lecturing Ethics in Engineering Faculty\TIU.’ The seminar discussed how the construction industry will grow over many years in KRI, and further highlighted the affect of corruption on the industry and the losses it contributes to. Corruption elements in construction projects were emphasized, and solutions were proposed and discussed during the seminar. Further, Prof. Dr. Bayan Salim mentioned the role of engineering faculties in fighting corruption, and explained how delivering specific courses at a professional and industrial level is important to prepare our graduates and build their capacity in ethical decision-making.
