February 22, 2021, as an activity and event from the Tishk International University (Civil Engineering Department) held a competition for students, which was titled as (Marshmallow Competition) that supervised by Tishk International University ACI Student Chapter. The competition was to increase the team working skills between the students and to let them think quickly to think about the behavior of the structures, also it was helpful to enable the students to see as a real model what have been studied. 7 groups of students participated in the competition. The top 3 groups were rewarded by a bag of marshmallows

The TIU student chapter of ACI (American Concrete Institute) organized FRC Bowling Ball Competition in cooperation with ACI University of Salahadin Student Chapter and ACI Iraq Chapter, this event was hold on March 08, 2021 at Tishk International University Erbil Campus. Ten teams of civil engineering students participated in the event.
