On 13th of February Civil engineering dept. organized a scientific trip to Taq Taq Arch Action Bridge which is made of concrete, third year students were targeted in this trip. Supervision was held by Dr. Ibrahim Hassan Azez lecturer of structural analysis course. The main purpose of the trip to show the practical part of the structure analysis course. Calculation of moving loads on bridge, the type of supports being used in the bridge, behaves, responses and reactions of each member were discussed in details. Taq Taq bridge located in Koya Snjaq, which belongs to Arbil government. Taq Taq Bridge has been constructed between 1953-1957 by a German company. It is observed that the bridge needs urgent maintenance.
