On the 5th of Jun 2018, a delegation of Tishk International University from the Dean of Engineering Faculty has visited University of Soran. The aim of the visit was to strengthen the academic relationship between Tishk International University and Soran University. Tishk International delegation invited Soran university academic staff to participate in the coming International Engineering Conference  (IEC) in February, 2019 and International Conference on Architecture and Interior Design (ICAD) in October 2019. As a part of the continues development, Tishk International University is currently in the Preparation Phase for the International Accreditation Procedure of two Academic Bachelor Degrees Programs in Computer Engineering and Information Technology. On May 06, 2018 Tishk International University held 4th National Innovations Competition in Engineering (NICE2018), under the theme of “Targeting Smart Sustainable Innovations.” Dr. Idris Hadi Salih Head of Board of Trustees and President of Tishk International University opened the event and warmly welcomed the guests and the participants.   NICE (National Innovations Competition in Engineering) is an Engineering competition open to higher education students in Kurdistan Region. On the 22nd - 23rd of April 2018, from 9:30 Am to 3:00 Pm, under the theme of “Modern measuring methods in the laboratory by using Dasylab - Labview” in College of Engineering, Tishk International University, Erbil. The lecturers were Dr. –Ing. Absulkader Kadauw, Mechial Seinbruck and Mr. Frank Gleissner. Tishk International University and Erbil Polytechnic University hosted 4th International Engineering Conference on Development in Civil & Computer Engineering Applications (IEC2018) on February 26 and 27, 2018. The aim of the conference was to disseminate research findings and provide a platform for scholars to debate and exchange ideas on the developments in the field of engineering. The conference proceedings will be indexed by Google Scholar Databases and each paper will have DOI number.
