The Dean of Students Office at Tishk International University (TIU) organized the 5th International Festival of Language, Culture and Science at the TIU campus under the theme of “Green Energy and Minimum Waste” with the participation of general consulates, politicians, parents, students, staff, and guests, held on Tuesday, May 17th, 2022.
The festival aimed to raise support for renewable energy as a solution to the region’s crises of energy and environment, and to increase the awareness to minimize waste. The festival also focused on promoting the message of peace and coexistence among countries and nations.The festival comprised 28 tents each representing a country, 21 scientific tents from TIU departments, 14 tents of alumni start-up business owners, 9 tents of , 6 tents of NGOs for the disabled , 4 nations including Kurdish, Arabic, Turkmen, and Christian, and other tents for food fundraising, art exhibitions, and many entertainment games.

Organizing an Exhibition with the Architecture Department following the main theme of the festival which was “Green energy and Minimum Waste”, the aim of the exhibition was to showcase Interior Design and Architecture Students projects and serve fresh cool drinks with a designed shaded seating area for the visitors to rest while enjoy seeing students projects.
the scientific tent included a monument in the center and the rest of the parts showcased students work from wide variety. architectural design models, history models, design sheets, graphic compositions, photos taken in photography class and so on.the cultural tent represented the Armenian culture with traditional costumes, traditional food and sweets as well as card and information on the nation.
All the furniture used in the exhibition was reused materials made by the students and supervised by lecturers and research assistants. students volunteered in preparing for the festival by making wooden seats and arranging them. in addition to paining old tires and diy-ing them into seating.the drinks coffee break area served fresh drinks made by volunteering students.









Cultural Tent of the Armenian Nation



Since the Architecture Department was representing Hungary in the Country Tents, the department made sure to bring the Armenian soul to the tent by talking about its history, food, outfit and their special items, and made sure to create unforgettable experience to the visitors by giving them gifts and quotes that represent the country .
