Student Innovations Shine at NICE 2026: Architectural Excellence Takes the Stage Tishk International University proudly concluded the 11th National Innovation Competition in Engineering (NICE 2026) on May 17. Focused on student innovation, the event brought together young innovators, academic mentors, and university leaders, with a special emphasis on student architectural projects.
This year, 331 student projects were submitted, with 266 accepted, spanning eight engineering categories and notable architectural innovations. Students from universities across Kurdistan presented groundbreaking ideas, with top architectural student teams earning Lenovo laptops and TECNO devices.
NICE 2026 emphasized how student architects, alongside their peers in other engineering fields, are driving innovation. The university commends all student participants, whose creativity and dedication pave the way for a sustainable, innovative future in architecture and engineering.
