On Wednesday, October the 25th, the Architectural Department at Tishk International University prepared a field trip to a couple selected sites in Pirmam, for the second year students’ design project, a private villa. The site visit was headed by the design studio academics: Mr. Abdulrazzak Zamil, Mr. Dawa Azad, and Mrs. Manar Nazar, along with the other staff.

The students and academics arrived at the factory site at 10:00, the field trip was aiming to teach students the procedures of design starting at the first phase that is site analysis.
The group was shown around the place and was told what’s what and how things are done. The students were asked to take notes and sketch their site inspirations and take photos for documentation.
After showing around the sites, the academics didn’t leave any unanswered questions in the minds of the students in a quick Q&A before heading back to the University at 14:30.
The four-hour visit was very informative and the students learned a lot about their intended site for their next design project.
