On 30 June 2026, As part of the Interpersonal Dynamics and Character Building (IDCB) course, students from the Department of Architecture at TISHK International University, under the supervision of Mr. Muhammed Mukhlis Muhsin, organized a project entitled “Modern Architects” on Tuesday, 30 June 2026.

The project aimed to provide architecture students with a clear roadmap for becoming modern architects by introducing the essential academic, professional, and personal competencies required in today’s architectural field. The initiative also addressed the lack of a well-defined pathway for students pursuing careers in architecture.

Aligned with Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 4: Quality Education and SDG 11: Sustainable Cities and Communities, the project emphasized the importance of quality education, lifelong learning, innovation, and sustainable architectural practices.

Throughout the activity, students conducted research, prepared presentations, and designed a comprehensive roadmap highlighting the stages of professional development in architecture. They shared their findings with fellow students, encouraging discussion and the exchange of ideas while promoting teamwork, leadership, communication, critical thinking, and social responsibility.

The project provided participants with a valuable learning experience, enhancing their understanding of sustainable development, professional ethics, and community engagement. It also strengthened their interpersonal skills and reinforced the role of collaborative learning in preparing future architects to contribute positively to society.
