On Friday, June 12, 2026, students from the Architecture Engineering Department at Tishk International University organized a community service project entitled “Together We Give” as part of the Interpersonal Dynamics and Character Building (IDCB) course.

The initiative was carried out by Sozyar Sdiq, Noor Zuhair, Huda Jawdat, Sidra Mahmood, Maryam Baxtiar, Roshna Majed, and Sara Rubad under the supervision of Mr. Rebin Hamad. The project aimed to support underprivileged families by providing essential food and household supplies while promoting values of compassion, generosity, and social responsibility.

To implement the initiative, the students allocated a budget of 300,000 IQD to purchase and distribute food packages containing basic necessities, including rice, cooking oil, meat, tomato paste, and other grocery items. The activity sought to ease some of the daily financial burdens faced by families in need and to spread kindness within the community.

The project also aimed to raise awareness about the challenges many low-income families encounter in securing essential necessities. Through direct engagement with the community, students developed a deeper understanding of empathy, cooperation, and civic responsibility.

Aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly those related to poverty reduction and social well-being, the initiative provided students with a valuable opportunity to apply interpersonal and leadership skills in a real-world setting while making a meaningful contribution to society.

Tishk International University commends the students for their commitment to community service and their efforts to foster a culture of giving, solidarity, and social impact.
