On May 6th, 2026, Tishk International University held a workshop titled “Strategic Pathways to Scopus Q1 & Q2 Publications forWomen in Research” at Ibn Sina Hall. Organized by the Engineering Faculty,Research Center, and Ranking Unit, the event brought together faculty andresearchers to address practical strategies for publishing in high-impactindexed journals.Four k
eynote speakers presentedtopics including manuscript development, journal selection, avoiding deskrejection, and building research networks. The panel was moderated by Dr. RandAlhashimie, with speakers Prof. Dr. Ghousia Khatoon, Ms. Zhikal Omar Khudhur,Mrs. Sawsan S. Hamed, and Asst. Prof. Dr. Subasini. The event is expected to positively contribute to TIU’s standing in THE and QS World UniversityRankings.
