On the 28th to 29th of April, 2026 the Architecture Department at Tishk International University, carried out ICAD, International Conference on Architecture & Interior Design. The International Conference on Architecture and Interior Design (ICAD 2026).is an interdisciplinary forum for the presentation of new advances and research results in the fields of Architecture and Interior Design. The conference brings together leading academic scientists, researchers and scholars in the domain of interest from around the world. ICAD 2026 attracts researchers, scientists and technologists from universities, research institutions and government agencies from across the globe. The conference program will include paper presentations, poster sessions, workshops, along with keynote speeches by prominent speakers. Along the two days of the conference, it provided 150 seats, 2 panels and 4 speakers.

Conference objectives:

  • The main objective of the ICAD 2026 conference is to create space for presentation of current and state-of-the-art concepts and results of scientific work in various fields of Architecture and Interior Design.
  • The conference also presents a platform for creating collaborative links and continuous engagement between academics and professional practitioners and their workplaces
  • Aiming at long-term sharing and exchange of knowledge and ideas on the most pressing issues and development in the Architecture and Interior Design field.

The ICAD2026 conference awarded six conference fellowships for accepted papers.
The fellowship opportunities are available for both international and local authors,
with different benefits as outlined below.

For international authors with in-person presentations, the fellowship will include:

  1. Accommodation in Erbil for the conference duration
  2. Free in-person conference participation (no registration or participation fee required)
  3. Lunch during conference days
  4. Local transportation between the accommodation and the conference venue

As for local authors:

  1. Full exemption from the paper registration fee
  2. Full exemption from the conference participation fee

The ICAD2026 conference awarded four conference fellowships to international authors with in-person presentations. The fellowship provided the recipient with accommodation in Erbil, meals, and local transportation between the accommodation and the conference venue for the conference days.
