Academic Trip to Abu Shahab City Hotel

The Architecture Department of the Faculty of Engineering at Tishk International University (TIU) organised a scientific trip to Abu Shahab City Hotel for second-stage students on May 4th, 2024. Mr. Carol Kharbosh and Ms. Hema Hiwa oversaw the excursion.

The trip’s objectives were to provide the students with a more practical experience in the Building Construction Technology Course in which they are currently enrolled and to provide them with a more comprehensive understanding of the structural techniques employed in the construction of the building.

During the site visit, the lecturer provided the students with a comprehensive overview of the structural systems of the project, including the intricacies of columns, beams, slabs, and their connections.
