The Inspiring Ways Our Prophet (PBUH) Honoured Women
In collaboration with the Civil Engineering Department, the Department of Architectural Engineering, Faculty of Engineering at Tishk International University organised an event to celebrate the birth of our beloved Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), held on October 25th, 2022.
Ms. Rwanga Amir, Research Assistant at the Department of Architectural Engineering, delivered a welcoming speech and explained the agenda of the event.
This was followed by the recitation of verses from the Holy Quran by Mr. Husamadin Amir. Afterwards, Mr. Mukhlis Younis, the Owner of Tafseer Publishing House, gave an outstanding presentation about the inspiring ways our Prophet (PBUH) respected and honoured women and how Islam has great respect for the women in our communities. How Islam changed the way girls and women were treated during the time of ignorance was also described and mentioned during the seminar.
At the end of the ceremony, a short Daf concert was played for all the attendees by the Erbil Rythem Daf Group. mS. The ceremony ended with an appreciation speech by Ms. Rwanga Amir.
