Food Packages for People in NeedIn collaboration with the Dean of Students, the Surveying & Geomatics Engineering Department, Faculty of Engineering at Tishk International University (TIU) conducted a community service project on 6th April 2024. The project was initiated after a meeting was held between our department and the Dean of Students to discuss the logistics and distribution of the food packages. Surveying & Geomatics Graduated Students The Alumni Office, Dean of Students at Tishk International University, in collaboration with the Surveying and Geomatics Engineering Department, Faculty of Engineering at Tishk International University (TIU) recently organized an event to reconnect with alumni. Mr.Shamal Mohamadamin invited and visited several alumni to share their post-graduation career experiences and to spend quality time together. As the event concluded, Mr. Shamal expressed gratitude on behalf of the Dean of Students by presenting a gift, emphasizing the importance of nurturing the relationship between the university and its alumni.

Tishk International University recently hosted a highly successful Visit Your Future event from February 14 to February 16, 2023, for 12th-grade students from various high schools in and outside Erbil city. Organized by the Dean of Students, the event attracted approximately 2,000 students, providing them with an opportunity to explore the university’s academic departments and various university clubs, thereby getting an up-close and personal look at university life.  The Surveying and Geomatics Engineering Department played a significant role in the program, providing valuable insights into the field. Supportive Art Painting The Surveying and Geomatics Engineering Department, Faculty of Engineering at Tishk International University, participated in the 5th International Spring Festival of Language, Culture, and Science, under the theme "Green Energy and Minimum Waste", organized by TIU on May 17th, 2022. Through Community-University Partnership Projects, the Department of Surveying and Geomatics Engineering at Tishk International University extended the Erbil Orphanage Community Project for the 2021-2022 academic year.  The Social Community project 2020/2021 On April 6th, 2022, a member of our department Mr Shamal Mohamad Amin, visited the orphanage home in Erbil to discuss their needs and requests in providing a better home for the orphans.
