Mechatronics Engineering Graduates will be able to preform the following by the end of the 4 year programme:-

  1. Construction of solutions to complex engineering problems through the implementation of the knowledge & skills of Mathematics, Science, and Engineering Fundamentals.
  2. Analysis & Synthesis of systems and/or sub-systems that function in coherence with other systems in a variety of initial states and boundary conditions.
  3. Analyse data produced by acquisition systems for both localized and/or remote applications.
  4. Implement Sustainability into their designs to improve environmental well-being, public health and safety requirements.
  5. Measure & Calculate various parameters of physical quantities (such as; Temperature, Pressure, Displacement, …, etc.) by utilising the appropriate sensors, transducers and actuators for different processors and provide suitable control of said parameters.
  6. Implement optimisation methods to achieve an effective solution that draws on environmental demands and sustainability requirements. (Applicable in any engineering project.)
  7. Communicate effectively and work collaboratively with other engineers and technical personnel to achieve a unified outcome.
  8. Ensure personal and industrial safety standards in all activities at work.
  9. Prepare & Plan projects through the use of effective organizational skills to manage resources, tasks and time. And apply the necessary procedures to change a product/service based on customer feedback to ensure satisfaction.
  10. Possess the following traits; Great leadership, accountability & responsibility, intuition & adaptability, proactivity & determination, self-sufficiency & teamwork, and most of all; Passion in both professional and community assignments.
