International Young Researchers Conference at IBSU

The International Young Researchers Conference, held on June 24th, 2022, at the International Black Sea University, served as a platform for young researchers from diverse disciplines to exhibit their research, network with peers and experienced colleagues, and receive feedback on their work. The conference provided various presentation formats, including oral presentations, poster sessions, and workshops, enabling participants to share their findings, and enhance their understanding of their field.

International Black Sea University, a private institution located in Tbilisi, Georgia, with a vision to offer excellent educational and research opportunities to a diverse range of students, offers undergraduate and graduate programs in a multitude of fields, including sciences and engineering. The online conference, with its extensive coverage of research topics, demonstrated the institution’s commitment to fostering diversity and promoting internationalization, providing an excellent opportunity for attendees to form global connections and collaborations.

Among the participants was the Mechatronics Engineering Department, Faculty of Engineering at Tishk International University where research assistant Ahmed Haval Fattah presented a compelling project on a sorting robot based on a QR Code. This innovative research topic has vast potential applications, especially in logistics and manufacturing industries. By utilizing QR codes to sort items, Ahmed Haval Fattah’s research presents a novel approach that could be more efficient and accurate than other conventional sorting methods.

The primary focus of Ahmed Haval Fattah’s research was developing and testing a prototype of the sorting robot, as well as exploring potential improvements and applications of the technology. Presenting this work at the International Young Researchers Conference provided an exceptional opportunity for Ahmed Haval Fattah to showcase his findings, share his vision, and receive valuable feedback from experts in his field. This feedback will surely prove to be valuable in further refining and improving the technology and identifying potential areas for future research and development.
