Hands-On Experience with CNC Machines: Grade 2 Mechatronics Field Trip
On May 16th, 2023, grade 2 students of the Department of Mechatronics Engineering, Faculty of Engineering at Tishk International University participated in an educational field trip as part of their CNC Machines course. The trip was led by Dr. Abdulkader Kadauw and Ahmed Ameer, who provided their expertise and supervision. The students had the unique opportunity to visit two prominent companies specializing in cutting-edge CNC machine production and utilization.
One of the companies they visited was Abdullah Jawhar, renowned for their manufacturing of machines and vehicle bodies. During the visit, the students were introduced to various CNC cutting machines, including CNC plasma, CNC milling, and CNC lathe. They witnessed firsthand the intricate process of precision cutting and shaping of materials, which highlighted the impressive capabilities of these advanced machines. The experience offered valuable insights into the world of manufacturing, bridging the gap between theory and practical application.
Guided by Dr. Abdulkader Kadauw and Ahmed Ameer, the students gained a deeper understanding of CNC machines and witnessed their significant impact on the manufacturing industry.
