Workshop (Introduction to Passive House)
On February 12, 2019 civil engineering department organized a seminar entitled Introduction to Passive House for Passive House, Iraq. The seminar was presented by certified passive house designer Engineer Muslim Muhammed who is the member in the international association of passive house. There were many attendees such as professors from civil and architectural engineering department, students from civil engineering department and engineers from different fields coming around Erbil. The department awarded Certificate of Appreciation to the presenter for his outstanding seminar. After the seminar, the department and certified passive house designer Engineer Muslim Muhammed discussed how to initiate a joint program to train the engineers and students on design of passive house. This will be started after getting approval from the international passive house institution.
