Internal Seminar: Applications of Soil Resistivity Imaging in Geotechnical Engineering The Civil Engineering Department at Tishk International University periodically organizes internal seminars regarding the trending topics related to the department. On November 17th, 2021, Dr. Yousif Abduallah Hussein presented a seminar entitled 'Applications of Soil Resistivity Imaging in Geotechnical Engineering.' The seminar was dedicated to portraying the resistivity measurements that can indicate the relative ability of the medium to carry electrical currents. This measurement is used in corrosion control of buried structures by providing cathodic protection.

Mr. Brwa Ahmad and Mr. Esam Zebaree supervised a group of 3rd-grade students of the civil engineering department at TTishk International International University. They visited the engineering faculty laboratory project at TIU, the aim of the visit was to familiarize the students with the construction process, structural details, and design of frame structures.
