Tulip Tower Site Visit
The Department of Civil Engineering, Faculty of Engineering at Tishk International University organised a site visit to Tulip Tower for fourth-grade students on October 20th, 2022. The visit aimed to show students the process and action at the construction site and provide them with an opportunity to put on their hard hats and get a closer look at the design and technology involved.
The students learnt about the process of excavation supports and the piling process. We would like to extend gratitude to Er. Osama (Project Engineer) for facilitating the process of the field trip. Also, we applaud Er. Adnan, Project Manager and Er. Ufuk, the Safety Engineer, for accompanying the students and explaining the stages of the project. The students gained practical experience during the site visit and were able to relate what they learnt to the theoretical lesson they currently are taking as part of the curriculum. We also extend our gratitude to the engineers and project manager for helping students gain a better insight into the construction processes and procedures and for answering all questions students asked.
