Scientific Trip to Boulevard Project 4th Grade Students
On December 3rd, 2020, 33 , fourth-grade students from the Civil Engineering Department were supervised by Mr. Barham Haidar and Dr. Yousif Abdullah in a visitation to the construction site of the Boulevard Project, located in Erbil – 40-meter street. The supervisors and students were welcomed by Mr. Haval Muhammed, the Site Engineer of the project.
At the beginning, the staff of the company explained details about the project and how they work according to safety measures and assurance. The students were then divided into smaller groups, and each group were led by a supervisor from the host company that explained details about the plan, RC elements that has been implemented and structural details of the other components for the students.
The students gained much information regarding construction had the opportunity to link their academic, theoretical courses to practical form, and transfer what they studied within the university program to the construction site.
