Community Service Initiative Success

Civil Engineering students from Tishk International University have successfully completed a community service project bringing clean drinking water access to Rawan Primary School in Erbil’s Sebardan district. This student-led initiative demonstrates the department’s commitment to combining academic excellence with social responsibility.

Fundraising Achievement

During the university’s 8th Annual Spring Festival on April 29, 2025, first-year Civil Engineering students organized a comprehensive food fundraising campaign featuring:

  • Traditional Kurdish cuisine: Dolma, Biryani, Burak, Kubba, and fresh salads

  • Popular items: Mini pizzas, puff pastries, Nutella cakes, and cup puddings

The well-organized food stand attracted hundreds of attendees and raised 500,000 IQD, contributing to the department’s total of 1,590,000 IQD for the clean water initiative.
