Alumni Office in cooperation with civil engineering department arranged a scientific field trip to Shary Mamostayan (Rasan Group) for civil engineering fourth grade students. Dr. Omar Muhie lecturer at civil engineering department accompanied us for the trip. He teaches foundation class to fourth grade students. Our alumni Dilvia Mirkhan  presented a speech about Limstone Environment. She generally talked about introduction to Eco-cement, concrete and environment, green concrete and its application. At the beginning she talked about Eco-system PLC (Portland Limestone Concrete) which is a type of concrete with materials as a partial or complete replacement for cement or fine or coarse aggregates. This type of concrete provides excellent performance but has a lower environmental impact than PC (Precast Concrete). Civil Engineering Department under the supervision of Barham Haidar the instructor of CE 219 with the assistance of Mohamad Qadir and Rabar Hama Fariq organized a field trip for second grade students to IBERIA batch plant. We are welcomed very warmly by the administrative and technical staff of the batch plant. Instructor Barham explained how mix design is held in batch plant practically. Alumni Office arranged a reunion for the 2015 civil engineering unemployed graduate.  The gathering was about presenting Alumni Office and talking about its opportunities. One of our unique opportunities is providing our graduate with suitable jobs. Our office in corporation with career center works hard to minimize the rate of the unemployed alumna.
