On Thursday, November, the 22nd, the civil engineering department of Tishk International University by the supervision of the head of Department Mr. Barham Haidar held an orientation program, targeting the freshman students that are enrolled to study civil engineering in Tishk International University. On 8th November civil engineering department organized a workshop under the title of Infrastructures in the Program of the Civil Engineering Department at Tishk International University. The workshop focused on the plan of the Civil Engineering Department at Tishk International University to launch a new program (High diploma in infrastructures) to boost attention to Iraqi / Kurdistan infrastructures, that it will be the first in the country, to develop research, curriculum and public outreach. Alumni's visit, February 13, 2018 Alumni's visit, on February 13, 2018, civil engineering department hosted graduated student of the year 2017 with the cooperation of alumni office/dean of students. Graduates were welcomed by Head of department and Lecturers. Skill full lecturers transferred their past experiences to the graduate participants and how to overcome the challenges of work field. They had spent joyful time together and commemorated the last memories of student life. At last alumni office presented gifts to the graduates. 22 participants (Alumni & Lecturers) participated in this event
