  Civil engineering department  arranged a scientific visit for the students of third grade to the construction facility in Erbil-Medical University Faculty of medicine .This visit was held on 5/10/2015 On Wednesday .It was beneficial and proper starting for more field trips .this visit organize by the Department under the supervision of faculty members .Prf. A site visit took place On November 18th, 2015. Where a group of students from C participated in cooperation with The Consultancy  Bureau, Executive Director ( Dr Ganjeena Khoshnaw), Assistant ECB  (Naz Noori Yassin),Research Assistants (Mohammed Qader Ali) and (Ala Tahsin Muhsin). During the visit the group toured through the high way construction, they got introduced to the construction codes, building materials codes,  the types of the materials and machines they used.    The Civil Engineering department has Commencement on 27 of Oct. , it's yearly academic seminar program. The academic staff seminars are scheduled weekly to present one academic and assistant staff. The seminars are attended by the academic and assistant staff. The seminars will cover various theoretical and applied advances in the varios branch of Civil Engineering. The first seminar was held on 27th o Oct. The " Graduation Projects Requirements" seminar presented by  Assoc.Prof.Dr. Thamir Muhammed Ahmed covered the requirements of a qualified graduation project and presented a proposal for a unified structure of the projects issues.
