Civil Engineering Department organized a ceremony on May 9th, 2017 to celebrate the ZEvA international accreditation for BA program of Civil Engineering at Tishk International . Members of board of Trustee Dr. Jabar and Dr. Husain Khanaqa were attended this meaningful event. Vice Presidents and Dean of Engineering Faculty, as well, participated to the ceremony. Lecturers and students, altogether, of Civil Engineering Department celebrated this significant accreditation in the program. Meanwhile, the top three students of each class have awarded by plaque. On March 23rd, 2017, Civil Engineering Department accredited internationally by ZEvA Agency for a period of five years.

Second year students in builidng construction lecture visited the construction site of education faculty building in Tishk International University Campus. The second floor of the building is still under construction in stage of finishing. Students are accompanied by their lecturer Mr. Barham Haidar. Mr. Barham explained the bonding of bricks, type of joints, type of columns, and the benefits of shear walls in the building.the practical work attracted students attention a lot.  the scientific trip was held on May 7, 2017  

Department of Civil Engineering in collaboration with Lafarge Academy training and topics of the training organized a training under the topic of Concrete Practical Work. The selected students trained on 24th of April, 2017 at Lafarge cement plant in Erbil for one full day. the training expands students skill about the concrete issues which engineer faces in practical work.   

Proudly, we would like to inform the community that International Accrediation Institution ZEvA‘s Commission for International Affairs (KIA) has decided to accredit the Bachelors’ program “Civil Engineering” at Tishk International University, Erbil, without any conditions and for a period of five years. Congratulations to all our staff who tried hard to make it happen and to the ones who supported during the process!
