Site Visit to Tulip Towers 2024
On 30th April 2024, second-grade students from the Civil Engineering Department, Faculty of Engineering at Tishk International University (TIU) had an educational site visit to the Tulip Towers. This visit was organized as part of their Building Construction Course, conducted by Dr. Twana Ahmed.
The students were given the opportunity to observe the ongoing construction projects and acquire practical knowledge regarding a variety of structural members, including beams, columns, shear walls, and slabs, during the visit. Dr. Twana Ahmed and Mr. Mohammed Mahmood’s comprehensive explanations further enhanced the hands-on experience.
The students gained an invaluable learning experience during this site visit, which helped to bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and real-world application.
