On 10/Dec/2018 4th grade students payed a visit to Goma Span Dam which located about 35 Km far from Erbil, the scientific trip was supervised by (Dr. Thamir , Mr. Essam Zebari , Mr. Halmat Muslih , and Mrs. Alla) as hosted by (Engineer Ako Dhahir, Assist lecture Isamaddin Said , Eng Naz Noori). The aim of the trip was to show the students how a to apply the theoretical part in the reality, including the tests for the materials. The dam is completed about 18% which was a chance to let the students how the foundations are done for the Dam. Also some problems were explained relating to the geotechnical issues that the staff faced during the work.
