Fourth grade students of civil engineering department held an academic field trip under supervision of Prof. Dr. Omar Qarani with Mr. Twana Ahmed.
Prof. Dr. Omar Qarani teaches concrete bridge course, the course deals with how to design bridge elements, such as piers, girder, and decks and how to analyses the moving track loads on the deck and distribute it. Students to be well familiar with the design elements of bridge should see them on field. So professor Qarani illustrated all the components of bridge and designing procedures in the field.
Students appreciated their professor for spending the efforts on the field. And they got a lot of benefits from the trip.
