Civil Engineering held a small party to congratulate 3rd years and 4th year students for contributing and winning presents and certificates in ( National Engineering Competition) at Sulaymaniyah and they could be the fourth out of Forty one projects.    

Dean of Engineering Faculty Dr. Duran Kala, Head of Civil Engineering Department Barham Haidar and Dr. Ganjeena Khoshnaw paid a visit to Kurdistan Engineering Syndicate on May 11, 2016. They welcomed by the administration committe Engineer Philip Patros and Eng. Salahadin Fakhraddin. Dr. Kala presented a brief information about NICE 2015 competition and invited them to NICE 2016 competition which will be held on May 16, 2016. Mr. Barham Haidar gave a speech about the accreditation process which civil engineering department planned to get it. Alumni Office in cooperation with Civil Engineering Department arranged a scientific trip to Downtown Erbil. It is one of the city center development projects. The project is an important turning point in Erbil commercial. Fourth grade students of safety and cite management class visited Downtown Erbil. It started with explanation of the project plane and some information about overall aim of the project. It followed by visiting the other part of the project which is still under construction. Overall the project was at the finishing stage and most of its parts are built. The students asked some questions about the project. [...]

My dears students i would like to express my feelings due to the end of fall semester. the current crises in the region which badly affected on all aspects of life. in spite of that you all concentrated on the study and you did very well, especially fourth grade students you are genius as usual. you can continuous and beat crises by your will. i hope you will perform the same outstanding performance in spring semester. Dear Civil Engineering students’ as you know Sulaimani University Irrigation department will organize a competition for different discipline of Engineering on Engineering world day (April 28).
