The German engineering company AJG has given the Faculty of Engineering the opportunity to send its students to Munich, Germany. There are two cases that the company is proposing. Case 1 is sending 2 students to Germany during the summer of 2017 for an internship. Case 2 is sending 8-12 students on a study trip for one week. KRG Initiative for Internship Program under the management the Deputy Prime Minister Office organized the 3rd Certification Ceremony for the student who took place in internship program. The program was held at Sa’ad Abdullah Conference Hall on 15th of December 2016. In the third year program, 320 students from 30 companies were accepted for the internship program that was conducted in 15 universities.  Tishk International University participated in the program with 51 students from 5 different departments. Civil Engineering Dept. participated in the internship program with 12 students and  they completed internship programs in three different companies. appreciation for his efforts. Civil Engineering Department organized a workshop entitled by Departmental Strategic Plan regarding short, mid and long term. Prof. Dr. Bayan Salim chaired the workshop and presented topics which were beneficial in setting goals of the department. Presented topics opened an intensive discussion among teaching staff. Finally, valuable comments were added and a future plan for CE had prepared.
