The Architecture orientation at Tishk international university, was carried out to welcome new students and introduce them to the value, programs and creative environment of the university. Aiming to aid the students understanding the path they take as their architectural journey is to start, by showing them the available facilities, the set programs as well as the studio-based learning. The orientation took place on the 7th of December, 2025. Beginning with a formal welcoming speech, introducing students to Tishk International University, its vision, mission and the commitment to academic excellence. Proceeding with an overview of the Architecture Department is presented, outlining the curriculum, courses and objectives.

Focusing on the introduction of studio culture, that is the base of architecture at Tishk International University, the introduction happens by giving a tour through the studios, and the process students have to pass through in order to Convery their creative ideas. And professional ways to receive constructive feedback. The orientation also includes, offering students early exposure to the available clubs, like chess and music, as well as architecture tools and practices such as freehand sketching and model making techniques with examples of previous year astonishing results. Another goal of the orientation program is to, introduce the students to team-based design exercises, incorporation team-based skills within the curriculum and community building among students.

Overall, the orientation program concludes to serve a comprehensive introduction to the faculty, and the architecture department in specific. Preparing students academically, socially and creatively. Finally, the program ends with a session of answering questions, for any further explanation needed by the new students. Allowing a direct engagement with the faculty members.
