Interior Design Department (fourth grade students) in Tishk International University gathered to go for a scientific trip organized by the university to Shar, Sardam and Zanko private hospitals in Erbil city . The trip organised on 24th of October 2018 as a part of the scientific activities that relate to the Interior Design Studio Vl which is given by Mrs. Nazik Jamal (lecturer) and Ms Hazhin Nasih (assistant).
The staff in the three hospitals welcomed us and were so cooperated with Tishk International staff and the students, they showed them the different parts and units of the hospital with the interior design, finishing and furniture used inside the hospitals.
Mrs. Nazik explained to the students the architectural and interior design elements are used and what are the possibilities to redesign them to make a healthier environment for the patients, and how to increase the healing level in every sense and extend their role to focus on health and wellness, not just illness.
