On 21st of October 2018, the lecturer of Local Historical spaces Mrs. Shno Abdullah and assistant Ms Shaymaa Abubakir, took the third stage students of Interior Department in Tishk International University to the Citadel of Erbil city. one buss was provided by the university to transport.
During the trip the students were led around the citadel to observe the general theme of the place, while analyzing several aspects of the design elements, including zoning, circulation, activities and shading by visiting two museums inside the citadel, an old bath, two historical houses and a historical mosque.
It was a fun way to show the practical implementations of the theoretical design that the students would get in the coming semester.
