On November 12th, 2020, Ms. Sara Ardalan and Ms. Lujain Ahmed, Research Assistants at the department of Interior Design Engineering, presented a workshop in Studio 525 of the main building of Tishk International University on “Blue Print”, which is about working drawing sets and how to present 2D drawings of a project. The workshop consisted of two parts, the first part was theoretical and the subject was explained through a PowerPoint presentation , the next part was practical, the subject was practiced with the students.

On December : 24th, 2020, Research Assistants (Ms. Shayma Jalil , Ms. Shayma Abubakir , Ms. Sara Ardalan , Ms. Lujain Ahmed and Ms. Sara Hadi) at the department of Interior Design  Engineering , Organized a workshop in Studio 524 of the main building of Tishk International University on “Preparing Design working Drawing set” for the second stage Interior Design Students in order to strengthen their ability in how to organize their design drawing set and at the end of the workshop every student’s question about their 2D Drawings was Answered.

On 22nd of February 2021, Tishk International University, Faculty of Engineering organized a field trip for students of the Interior Design Department to the STAR towers Project located in Bakhtiary, Erbil. The field trip contributed to enhancing the practical aspects of the students' specialization before stepping towards the professional world as Interior Designers. The visitation is also beneficial for the students’ redesign project in the Professional Practice Course supervised by Ms. Stran Star. The Project Manager and Architect Mr. Karzan Abdulla welcomed students on the site and introduced different phases of the project including the use of materials and project costs. [...]

On 3rd of July both Architecture and interior design Department together had a breakfast at (Saj-al reef restaurant), the whole staff spent unforgettable time and enjoy the breakfast together.

The Interior Design Department (second grade students) of Tishk International University attended a scientific trip organized by the University to Cambridge School in Erbil, as a part of the scientific activities that relate to the Interior Design Studio II course, taught by Mrs. Siba Kady, Lecturer, and assistants: Ms Noor,Ms Laylan, Ms Safa. The staff welcomed the group of students and were very cooperative with TIU's staff and students. They organized a tour for the students around the facility, highlighting the library structure and how they make two zones within the division, one for adults and one for children. Mrs. [...]

On the date of 23rd May 2019, Mr. Haval Sami, a lecturer and head of Interior Design Dept. presented a seminar in his Department at Tishk International Uiversity, under the title of  “Symbols in Architecture”. The seminar illustrated some symbols that used in designs and their means, there are many symbols used in design from local cultures. The seminar was attended by Interior design Department staff.
