Specialization & Area (of the seminar): Cognitive studies in architecture
On the date of 16th May 2019, Mr. Madyan Maher, a lecturer in Interior Design Engineering Dept. delivered a seminar in his Department at Tishk International University, under the title of “Architectural imagination”
The seminar illustrated some concepts like the imagination is necessary if we want to treat architecture as a mode of knowledge. The seminar tried to analyze the concept of the imagination as the capacity for producing images, the mental capacity to picture things, as well as the importance of architectural imagination and how it can be used and formalized within the design process.
