3rd Grade Scientific Trip to Iraqi Institute for the Conservation of Antiquities of Erbil
On November 5th, 2023, the Interior Design Department, Faculty of Engineering at Tishk International University prepared a scientific trip for the 3rd grade students to related to their Conservation Course, under the supervision of Dr. Omer Abdulwahab.
Students participated in a workshop held by the Iraqi Institute for the Conservation of Antiquities and Heritage in the city of Erbil. During the workshop, a presentation was made of a project to rehabilitate and maintain historical buildings in the Tajil area, in cooperation with international experts from Germany, as well as the universities of Koya and Mosul. The aim of the participation was to encourage students to extrapolate information and how to analyze it in relation to the course of methods of interior design conservation with accordance to their curriculum.
