7th National Innovation Competition in Engineering (NICE2022) Tishk International University's 7th National Innovation Competition in Engineering (NICE2022) was held on Wednesday, May 19th, 2022, under "Targeting Smart Sustainable Innovations". The competition aimed to gather students, supervisors, practitioners, educators, and students of all engineering fields around universities in Kurdistan and Iraq interested in smart, sustainable innovations. Invitations were sent to universities in Kurdistan and Iraq. Memorandum of Agreement between TIU and Iraq Surveying Company The Surveying and Geomatics Engineering Department signed a Memorandum of Agreement between Tishk International University (TIU) and Iraq Surveying Company. The agreement was signed under the supervision of Assistant Lecturer Shamal Fatah Ahmed. Iraq Surveying Company is an authorized dealer of Kolida, Geomax Positioning (part of the Hexagon), DJI, and SPX (Radio Detection), some of the biggest Surveying Engineering Companies in the world. Staff exchange with Potsdam University A TIU delegation paid a visit to Potsdam University for the aim of accomplishing the Religious Mapping of Erbil Project, which focuses on Religious and Cultural Diversity, and the religious mapping of Erbil. This project was first initiated in March 2018 and was successfully completed this month. It was carried out in collaboration with Potsdam University in Germany, Tishk International University, Salahaddin University, and Catholic University in Erbil, and was funded by the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD).
