Kurdistan Cultural Exhibition at Tishk International University Tishk International University held its annual Kurdistan Culture Exhibition at its main building on the campus on May 23rd, 2017. The Architecture and Interior Design Departments of Tishk International University have been preparing the exhibition since last semester. More than 250 projects from these departments combined, were exhibited on the second floor of the main building. The event was organized by the exhibition committee in the both departments. Tishk International University in Cooperation with the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research organized a Certificate Awarding Ceremony and a Joint Workshop on May 17th, 2017, under the theme of “Features & Prospects of International Accreditation in Higher Education”. The workshop brought together the university presidents, the experts and academicians from various parts of the region to exchange knowledge and ideas regarding Academic Quality and Academic Accreditation in particular. Tishk International University held 3rd NICE competition on May 16th, 2017, under the theme of “Targeting Smart Sustainable Innovations”. At the opening ceremony, Dr. Idris Hadi Head of Board Trustees of Tishk International University gave a speech as to significance of the program not only for Tishk International University and KRG but also for each key dynamics of the world in innovation and engineering fields. Tishk International Career Center organized the 4th Career Days on May 9th, 2017. The event was held with the participation of 20 international and local companies; three of them participated as sponsor which are Hawkary Group, RT Bank, Kar Group. The event started at 9:00 a.m. and finished at 4 p.m. Most of the senior students visited all the stand to submit their CVs to the companies to get a chance to work with them. The 3rd International Engineering Conference on Developments in Civil & Computer Engineering Applications took place in Erbil, Iraq between February 26 and 27, 2017. The conference was organized jointly by TISHK University and Erbil Polytechnic University. On 3rd of January 2017 a seminar entitled "Preparing Technical Reports for a Better Society in Engineering" was held for Faculty of Engineering and Science academics by Prof. Dr. Ahmet Öztaş.
