Women’s Day Celebration
On March 8th, 2024, the Department of Interior Design, Faculty of Engineering at Tishk International University (TIU) celebrated International Women’s Day. The event was heartfelt and lively, commemorating the accomplishments and contributions of women in our community. The day was characterised by a warm atmosphere of camaraderie, engaging activities, and inspiring speeches. The distribution of thoughtful gifts was a special highlight of the celebration, as it served as a testament to our gratitude for the hard work and dedication of the women in our department. The event not only cultivated a sense of unity and recognition, but it also served to reaffirm our dedication to the advancement of gender equality and the empowerment of women in academia.
The atmosphere was characterised by joy and celebration as the event progressed. It was a time for colleagues and students to mingle, exchanging stories and establishing connections over refreshments. The thoughtful gifts that were distributed to all women in attendance added a personal touch, ensuring that each individual felt valued and appreciated. Each of these tokens of appreciation was chosen to express gratitude and support, ranging from personalised stationery and books to wellness products.
