On February 12th, students from the Interior Design Department at Tishk International University participated in a field trip to the Media Hall in Erbil as part of their design lecture. The visit was organized to provide students with hands-on experience and a deeper understanding of architectural and interior design concepts in a practical environment.
Under the supervision of Ms. Rawaz, Miss Aysha, and Mr. Hawkar, a knowledgeable guide accompanied the students throughout the tour, offering detailed explanations about the design elements, layout, and functionality of the space. The guide highlighted key aspects of the hall’s design, such as its aesthetic appeal, spatial organization, and the use of materials.
This field trip not only enriched the students’ academic knowledge but also inspired them with real-world examples of how design principles are applied in public and commercial spaces. The experience helped to bridge the gap between theory and practice, giving students valuable insights into the complexities of interior design.
