On November 5, 2024, the Interior Design Department, Faculty of Engineering at Tishk International University (TIU), hosted a welcoming ceremony to celebrate the new academic year with students and staff from all stages. The event, which was also attended by representatives from the Department of Students Affairs (DOS), provided a wonderful opportunity for everyone to connect in a relaxed and celebratory atmosphere. From October 24 to December 12, 2024, the Interior Design Department at Tishk International University (TIU) successfully held a 24-hour professional training course on Lumion and SketchUp Essentials. This comprehensive program provided a strong foundation in 3D modeling, enriched by useful extensions, as well as advanced skills in professional rendering and animation using Lumion. On October 31, 2024, the Interior Design Department, Faculty of Engineering at Tishk International University (TIU) organized a site trip for 3rd-stage students to the Erbil Citadel as part of the Methods of Interior Design Conservation Course.
