The tour emphasized the furniture distribution, dimensions , spacing, colour pallets, accessories, and other design details that enhance the restaurant environment. During the tour, the lecturers explained the main design points, dimensions, positive and negative aspects of the design to the students. The students were also taught how to take as-built measurements and understand the difference in design depending on the users’ needs. They were required to take photos and gather information to prepare a detailed report. Finally, students were asked to make conclusions about what they learned through the trip based on their observations and the teachers’ explanations.
