On 8 February 2026, the Interior Design Department at Tishk International University (TIU) organized a family visit as a supportive and social initiative. The Head of the Department, along with staff members Ms. Sara Mahmood and Mrs. Fayza Bakr, visited a student from the department as part of this meaningful occasion. This initiative reflects the department’s commitment to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 4: Quality Education, by fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment; SDG 3: Good Health and Well-Being, by promoting emotional care and student welfare; and SDG 10: Reduced Inequalities, by strengthening inclusive academic relationships and equal support for students.

The visit reflected the strong sense of community within the department, highlighting the close relationship between academic staff and students. During the gathering, the Head of the Department and the staff members expressed their care and support, strengthening personal connections beyond the classroom environment. The atmosphere was warm and respectful, emphasizing unity, empathy, and mutual appreciation.

Such visits play an important role in building trust, encouraging student engagement, and fostering a family-like spirit within the academic community. The Interior Design Department continues to promote values of solidarity, respect, and social responsibility among its members.
