On May 6, 2025, fourth-year interior design students from the Interior Design Department visited the Kurdistan Bar Association headquarters in Erbil. The visit was part of the Special Topics in Interior Design course and was supervised by Dr. Aseel Alhsainat and Mr. Hawkar.

The building, designed by AVA Architects, exemplifies a contemporary approach to institutional interiors, with a focus on clean lines, a neutral color scheme, layered ceilings with integrated lighting, and premium material selections that reflect the building’s professional function.

During the tour, Dr. Hardi, co-founder of AVA Architects, personally guided the students through the project. He provided detailed explanations about the design process, spatial organization, material applications, and the architectural vision behind the building. His engagement offered students a valuable opportunity to bridge academic learning with practical, real-world experience.

This visit allowed students to deepen their understanding of institutional interior design, including key topics such as circulation planning, zoning strategies, and the balance between aesthetics and function in a high-profile public facility.
