On February 11, 2026, the Interior Design Department at the Faculty of Engineering, Tishk International University, organized a Charity Food Fundraiser under the slogan “Help a Little, Give a Lot.”
This initiative was more than just an event — it was a reflection of compassion, unity, and social responsibility. The campaign aimed to support families in need and stand in solidarity with communities facing hardship. Through collective effort, students and staff came together to contribute food donations and financial support to make a meaningful difference.
This initiative aligns with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly:
-
SDG 1: No Poverty
-
SDG 2: Zero Hunger
-
SDG 10: Reduced Inequalities
by promoting humanitarian support and community solidarity.
Charity is not only about giving money; it is about giving hope, dignity, and the opportunity for a better tomorrow. Every contribution, regardless of its size, became part of something greater — helping communities regain strength and stability. What may seem small to one person can truly mean the world to another.
The event highlighted the importance of empathy, cooperation, and humanitarian values within the university community, reinforcing the belief that together, we can create positive change.
